Done! I finished my Vintage Knee Socks! And I love them. They are so perfect with my boots.

Pattern: Vintage Knee Socks by Hannah Fettig
Yarn: Knit Picks Shadow in lace weight (2 skeins) held double through out
Needles: US 2 & US 3
Mods: None
I was right though, I did have way too much yarn for this project. The pattern called for 2 skeins of lace weight yarn, each skein 825 yards. So I ordered 4 skeins of lace weight, 440 yards. Thankfully, I only wound up 2 skeins. I figured that I would use those 2 for the first sock and the second 2 for the 2nd sock but I never needed them. I was able to make 2 knee high socks out of just those two skeins. Now I just have to figure out what I want to make with the remaining 2 skeins.
