Finally a finished object! I actually started this back in June and finished in a couple of weeks but since then it's been sitting waiting to be blocked and have the ends woven in. I wasn't in any hurry because it's a gift for my mom's birthday but since it's this Saturday, I figured I better get my tushy in gear and finish the dang thing.

Pattern: Weekender Lace Wrap by Lisa Dykstra

My mom has a very classic black dress that will look so amazing with this wrap. I can't wait to see the look on her face. My cousin is planning a party for my mom since it's her 60th birthday. It's going to be a hoot. It's going to be all ladies, most of them family and the rest are my mom's closest friends.
I finally cast on for the Central Park Hoodie with the yarn that my grandmother gave me for Christmas. I'm to the point where I need to block all the parts and the sew the shoulder seams together to start the hood. I'm planning on doing the blocking tonight when I get home. Hopefully I'll have some finished pics of that soon!
