October!

Happy October!! And Happy Fall!!!

Also, happy birthday to my mom. Love you you so much!! I hope this year is better then any that's come before it.

Mornings here have been so beautiful lately. We had a small storm over the weekend and every day since has be just breath taking. Everyday on my way to work I wish I didn't have to go and I could just drive around taking pictures. It's been so amazing, so non-typical for this area. It seems like normally we go from summer directly into winter but this year has been so different, so lovely.
This is an oak tree in the parking lot of my work. The red leaves are just amazing.

The one in which I talk about the weather...

Fall is for sure upon us here in Northern California. Its dark in the morning when I leave the house and after Sunday's rain, the air has been crisper.

The trees are changing color. There are beautiful reds, yellows and greens every where you look.

No frost yet, but it's headed that way. My friends, the 10 turkeys, are missing from their regular spot in this field.

But the sun rises are amazing.

The ground fog is so beautiful and romantic. Fall means sweater weather. Fall means falling leaves. Fall means unabashed knitting. I can't wait!
