The Postman by David Brin. This is one of the few post apocalyptic books that I've run across that isn't focused on California if they're focused on the west coast. Interesting look at what's going to happen to Oregon. I really enjoyed this book but it's not like the movie at all. I kept waiting for Gordon Krantz to challenge The Rule of 8 and it turns out that Nathan Holn is dead! He's not running the Holnists and there are soldiers that have been give implants to make them super strong like The Million Dollar Man!
Again I say not at all like the movie but I still enjoyed it.
