Nine-to-Five Socks by Nicole Hindes. I made them with Zitron Trekking (XXL) yarn. They turned out really great and are very comfortable to wear.
I just finished these yesterday. They are Diagonal Cross-Rib Socks by Ann Budd. They are from the book Favorite Socks by Interweave. I made them with some bamboo yarn that a friend of mine had given me. When I was working on my 9-to-5 Socks my mom asked me when I was going to make her a pair of socks. I whipped these up in about a week and was able to surprise her yesterday with them.
She looks pretty surprised right?!
I've been working a couple of quilting things this weekend too. A couple of weeks ago I started working on a place mat and table runner set for my In-laws car club. I got it all cut out but then lost momentum. I got all the tops finished yesterday but I still need to quilt them. Hopefully, I'll get them quilted tomorrow. So here's a sneak pick at them before quilting.

I've been working a new knitting bag for myself but it's not quite done yet. Hopefully I'll finish it tomorrow.

Great Socks! I love the little cable that runs down the heel in the first pair -- what a cool touch. And you finished the second pair in a WEEK? That's awesome -- it always takes me forever to get my socks done. Love your placemats and runner too -- great colors and who doesn't love a star???
Beautiful work! I love it all.
